So in March 2000, he started Gateway Metalworks from the ground up, a family-built business with no shortcuts, no outsourcing, and no compromise on quality, growing it brick by brick, weld by weld, into the medium-sized enterprise it is today with a 711m² factory, a full fleet, and 50+ trained professionals on the team.
Twenty-five years later, the same family that started this business still runs it daily, Steven as Managing Director, Tracey as Financial Director, and a core management team that has decades of combined experience, because when you are a family business, your reputation is personal.

We earned and maintain a CIDB grading of 8SQ, hold Level 1 BBBEE contributor status, and are accredited installers for industry-leading brands Betafence, Cochrane, and SmartView.
